Anushka Rudhramadevi new schedule begins in Hyderabad

Gunasekhar’s upcoming magnum opus, Rudhramadevi 3D, which has been in the making for the past few months has reached a crucial stage. So far, most of the film was shot inside studios in Hyderabad and a part of the film was shot near Kuntala waterfalls.

After a brief hiatus, the team has begun working on the film and the new schedule began earlier today in Annapurna 7 Acres Studios, Hyderabad. For this schedule, art director Thota Tharani has reportedly constructed a ‘Veera Mantapam’ set and it’s said to be one of the major highlights of the film. “As per the historical records, Veera Mantapam or Aashtana Koluvu, like it was called in those days, is the place where Rani Rudhramadevi used to take crucial decision with other rules from different parts of India,” Gunasekhar said.

Anushka Shetty, Rana, Catherine Tresa, Nithya Menen, Prakash Raj, Aditya Menon and few others are going to shoot for the film in this schedule and it’ll go on till April 5. Ilayaraja is scoring the music and Ajay Vincent is the cinematographer of this historical 3D film
