Fans a leading online portal has just reported Ajith’s salary for Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Thala 55, According to reports Thala has been paid a whopping 40 crores. Thala 55 which also stars Arun Vijay, Anushka Shetty and Trisha is fast progressing and is expected to be Pongal 2015 release.
The intresting truth on Ajith’s 40 crore salary is that, He received the amount in cheque so that it could be taxed meaning out of 40 crores, 12 crores were deducted for IT and Thala received only 28 crores.
There is also a buzz going around that Ajith might be paid 50 crores salary for his next film.
