A plethora of stars descended at Tampa Bay, Florida to celebrate Hindi Cinema and honor those actors who have given a performance par excellence in the last year. Where Bhaag Milkha Bhaag was the most celebrated film at this event, Deepika Padukone was the most notable actor as she bagged two major awards namely Best entertainer of the year and Best Performance in a Leading Role (Female) for Chennai Express. Shotgun Shatrughan Sinha was given the Lifetime Achievement Award for outstanding contribution to Indian Cinema. His daughter and superstar Sonakshi Sinha presented him with the award.


The two-time Academy Award nominee John Travolta was conferred with the ‘Most Popular All time International star in India’ honor at the ceremony. Kevin Spacey, another Hollywood biggie was also present at the do. Sonakshi Sinha, Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra performed at the event while Shahid Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar were hosting the show.

Best Story Award: Prashoon Joshi for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag


Best Performance in a Leading Role (Female) Award: Deepika Padukone for Chennai Express


Best Entertainer of the Year: Deepika Padukone


Lifetime Achievement Award 2014: Shatrughan Sinha


Best Performance in a Supporting role (Male) Award: Aditya Roy Kapoor for Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani


Best Performance in a Supporting role (Female) Award: Divya Dutta for Bhaag Mikha Bhaag


Best Debutant Award: Dhanush for Raanjhanaa


Best Performance in Negative role Award: Rishi Kapoor for D Day


Best Performance in a Comic Role Award: Arshad Warsi for Jolly LLB


Best Music Director : Mithoon, Ankit Tiwari and Jeet Ganguly for Aashiqui 2


Best Male Playback Singer Award: Arijit Singh for Tum Hi Ho from Aashiqui 2


Best Female Playback Singer Award: Shreya Goshal for Sun Raha Hai Na Tu from Aashiqui 2
