The Kerala State Film Awards for the year 2013-14 has been announced and the winners list are quite surprising. Even before the winners were announced, the awards had been into a controversy where people claimed that the jury members did not see the all 85 films that were contending for the awards. Suraj Venjaramoodu and his movie Perariyathavar, which won at the National Awards, was not in the list and was included at the last moment afgter National Awards were announced. Jayaram and Suraj were rumoured to be in race for the Best Actor. Now, the result is listed below.
